Saturday, 2nd May, was truly a special and memorable day as I had the privilege of ministering at the Filipino International Church. From the moment I arrived, I was met with such warmth, joy, and genuine hospitality—it immediately felt like family.
The atmosphere in the service was vibrant and full of life, with many young people actively involved throughout. It’s always encouraging to see a church where the next generation is not just present, but participating and leading with passion.
One of the highlights of the morning was the “Picture Preacher” challenge. The response was incredible! At the end of the service, over 60 people came forward to share their drawings with me. Each one reflected creativity, thought, and personal engagement with the message—it was inspiring to see how deeply the Word had connected with them.
I shared a message titled “Resilience Reset”, encouraging everyone to reflect, refocus, and renew their strength in God. The feedback was truly humbling. Many shared how blessed they felt and how the message spoke directly into their lives. Moments like that remind me why I do what I do.
After the service, we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship during a picnic lunch on the church grounds. There’s something powerful about sharing food—it creates space for connection, laughter, and meaningful conversations. It was a joy to interact with both members and visitors, hearing their stories and building new relationships.
In the afternoon, we gathered again for a more interactive session based on my book, “The Garden of Your Mind.”Together, we explored how to cultivate healthy thoughts, uproot negative patterns, and intentionally grow a mindset that aligns with purpose and faith.
The workshop was engaging and reflective, with great participation and openness from everyone involved. It’s always powerful to see people not just hear a message, but begin to apply it in practical ways.
