I recently attended the GAiN Europe Conference, an inspiring gathering of digital leaders, communication experts, and media teams from across Europe. The event brought together innovators from diverse fields such as TV production, radio, publishing, and personal ministries, offering invaluable insights into how technology is being used to share the Good News with the world.
I embraced this unique opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and global presenters, gaining fresh perspectives on harnessing media and communication tools to empower children and communities.
Advocating for Children’s Inclusion
A significant highlight of my time at the conference was advocacy for children’s inclusion in creative initiatives. At the table with industry leaders, I passionately argued for showcasing the work of young creatives alongside adult contributors.

“I’ve seen firsthand how capable and inspiring children can be when given the opportunity,” I shared. “At UCY, we’ve witnessed amazing results, and I’m excited to champion this approach on a larger scale.”
I have already begun laying the groundwork for incorporating young creatives into the South East England region’s media and ministry landscape. My goal is to create a pathway for children to attend and contribute to future conferences like GAiN, highlighting their potential to lead and inspire.

Empowered for the Future
The conference was not only a platform for advocacy but also an enriching experience for me. I absorbed valuable knowledge from experts and explored innovative strategies that he plans to adapt for future programmes. From storytelling techniques to leveraging emerging technologies, Craige is eager to implement these ideas to further empower the children of UCY and beyond.
It was a privilege to meet so many wonderful people and learn about the incredible work they’re doing, This experience has re-energized my commitment to developing opportunities for young people to shine in ministry and media.
