On 13 December 2025, I had the privilege of leading a workshop at the British Union Educators Conference held at Newbold College, focusing on using AI to reduce workload for teachers.
The session was extremely well-received, with participants showing genuine interest in exploring how AI can streamline planning, assessment, and administrative tasks. We explored practical strategies and real-world applications that allow teachers to save time, increase efficiency, and focus more on student engagement and learning outcomes.
It was inspiring to see so many educators eager to learn, ask questions, and share experiences from their own schools. The workshop highlighted a growing recognition across the teaching community that AI is not just a tool for innovation—it’s a practical solution to one of the biggest challenges educators face today: managing workload effectively while maintaining high-quality teaching.
The enthusiasm and curiosity of the participants reaffirmed the importance of empowering teachers with modern tools and 
strategies. Workshops like this remind me why I am so passionate about helping schools harness technology to support teaching, leadership, and student growth.
I look forward to seeing how these insights and strategies are applied in classrooms across the UK, helping teachers work smarter and focus on what truly matters: the success and well-being of their students.
