I am beyond excited to have attended the TruLittle Hero Awards, a celebration of young talent, resilience, and inspiration. This event was particularly special because I got to witness one of my UCY children, Jayden, receive an award and well-deserved recognition. The TruLittle Hero Awards truly live up to their name, celebrating children who inspire, lead, and shine in their communities.
I have had the privilege of working with Jayden since he was just 4 years old, watching him grow, learn, and develop into the remarkable child he is today. To see him recognised in this way was deeply moving. It’s moments like these that remind me why we do what we do at UCY—to nurture potential, encourage growth, and celebrate achievements, no matter how big or small.
Jayden’s journey is a powerful reminder that every child has greatness within them, and with guidance, support, and belief, they can shine in ways we could only dream of. Congratulations, Jayden—you are a true inspiration, and this award is just the beginning of all the amazing things you will achieve!
