The 7th of September is a date I will always remember.

On that day, I received my new Growth Mindset book—something that started as a simple idea and grew into a powerful reminder of why mindset, faith, and perseverance matter so much, especially for children and young people.

Holding the book in my hands was more than just a proud moment. It was a moment of reflection.

From Idea to Impact

This book didn’t appear overnight. It was shaped through years of working with children, families, educators, and leaders—listening to their challenges, observing their potential, and asking one key question:

How do we help children believe they can grow, learn, and become who God has called them to be?

Every page has been influenced by real conversations, real classrooms, real churches, and real moments where a child’s confidence was either lifted or limited by the words spoken over them.

Why Growth Mindset Matters More Than Ever

In a world where children are often labelled, compared, or pressured to perform, a growth mindset reminds us that:

  • Ability is not fixed
  • Mistakes are part of learning
  • Effort matters
  • Progress is more important than perfection

For me, a growth mindset is not just an educational concept—it’s deeply biblical. Scripture is full of examples of growth, transformation, and becoming. God works with people in process, not people who have already “arrived”.

A Personal Faith Journey

Receiving this book also reminded me of my own journey. There were moments of doubt, delays, and challenges along the way. Moments where giving up would have been easier.

But growth requires patience.

Faith requires trust.

And purpose requires persistence.

This book represents obedience to a calling—to equip the next generation with tools that help them think differently, believe boldly, and lead confidently.

What I Hope This Book Does

My prayer is that this book will:

  • Help children develop confidence and resilience
  • Support parents, teachers, and leaders in shaping positive mindsets
  • Encourage faith-filled conversations about growth, effort, and purpose
  • Inspire young people to see challenges as opportunities

If even one child begins to see themselves differently because of this book, then every step of the journey was worth it.

Looking Ahead

7th September wasn’t the end—it was a beginning.

There is more to come: workshops, resources, conversations, and opportunities to keep spreading a message of hope, growth, and possibility.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, prayed, and believed in this vision. Let’s continue helping children grow—not just in knowledge, but in confidence, character, and calling.

Growth is possible. Change is real. The journey continues.
